AT&T is a large service provider for cell phones, Internet and digital TV. If you have a cell phone plan from AT&T, you can access the Internet through the AT&T MEdia Net service. Since AT&T provides service for a number of different phone brands and models, setting up your Internet profile will be slightly different on every phone. The AT&T Support website maintains a list of all compatible phones, with step-by-step instructions for activating Internet service and other features. You must have a data plan that includes Internet service for the connection to be made.

Step 1

Log in to the AT&T Support website and click on "Wireless," on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Step 2

Locate the section in the center of the page titled "Phone/Device Learning Center." Click on the "Learn More" button.

Step 3

Click on "Phone" option in the "Select Device Type" section of the window that pops up. Select your device brand from the pull-down menu. Select your device by clicking the appropriate option in the center window. Click "Save Selection."

Step 4

Look at the menu on the left side of the screen titled, "Step By Step Tutorials." Click on "Internet."

Step 5

Click on "Access Internet" from the sub-menu that appears after clicking. You will see a detailed set of instructions showing you how to set up your AT&T Internet profile on that particular phone. Follow the instructions exactly on your phone.
