Convert just about all digital video files to a PSP format.
The PSP (PlayStation Portable) by Sony is an extremely popular portable gaming and media system. Modeled after the original Sony PlayStation, it enables users to carry it around just about anywhere. Watching videos on a PSP has become popular as well due to the size convenience of the size. Follow these suggestions if you have a bunch of digital videos on your computer and want to get them onto your PSP.
Step 1
Download the free PSP Video 9 application (see Resources).
Step 2
Install PSP Video 9 and restart your computer. You can optionally choose to install the YouTube Downloader during installation, or simply uncheck the box if you do not wish to install that application (it will not affect your conversion).
Step 3
Open your file browser and locate the video file that you wish to convert to PSP. Open up the PSP Video 9 application and click the "Convert" tab at the top of the application.
Step 4
Click the "Video File" tab at the top of the application, and click "Normal Mode" in the screen below. Click "Select File" and locate the file you wish to convert.
Step 5
Follow the next steps on the screen ("Specify Output," "Title" and "Conversion Settings"). After the main setup steps are complete, the "Start Converting" button will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click that button and the process will begin.
Tip
- Note your output path during the steps mentioned in Step Five. This is where your final PSP file will be after conversion.
Warning
- The conversion process may take a long time depending on the size of your original file.
