The Samsung Glyde mobile phone has built in Bluetooth connectivity for connecting to Bluetooth enabled headsets and other devices. Connecting the Glyde to a computer via Bluetooth allows for easy picture sharing and music transfer. Many laptops come with built in Bluetooth, or can add Bluetooth connectivity using a USB adapter. The process requires setting up the Bluetooth options from the Glyde and then connecting via the computer's Bluetooth options.
Open the Glyde's home screen and tap the "Menu" button. Open the gear icon labeled "Settings and Tools."
Open "Bluetooth Menu" and press "Turn On" if Bluetooth is deactivated. Press the "Options" button to continue.
Switch the "Discovery Mode" setting to "On." This allows the computer to find and connect to the Glyde. Discovery mode will only be enabled for one minute before automatically switching off, so perform this last step when you are ready to connect from the computer.
Click the Start menu and select "Devices and Printers" from the list. Click "Add a device." Alternately, type "Add a device" into the Start menu's search bar and press "Enter."
Wait for Windows to recognize the Glyde. The phone needs to be in discovery mode for Windows to find it. Select the phone and click "Next."
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing. The Glyde will appear as an external drive in the "My Computer" window.
