The Beat DJ is a feature-rich mobile phone manufactured by Samsung. While technically not a smartphone, the Beat DJ still requires a PC connection to perform certain tasks. Whether you're printing a picture or syncing content, you connect using the USB cable that comes with the phone. Connecting only enables certain types of content to sync, however. The Beat DJ cannot sync with contact lists and other information via USB. Instead, the Beat DJ connects to a Web server via Wi-Fi or cellular and directly syncs from there using your sync profile.
USB Mass Storage
Step 1
Touch "Settings" from menu mode, followed by "Phone Settings."
Step 2
Touch "PC Connections," followed by "Mass Storage" and "Save."
Step 3
Press the power key to return the phone to "Idle Mode"
Step 4
Connect the Beat DJ to your computer via the manufacturer-supplied USB cable.
Samsung PC Studio Music Copy
Step 1
Touch "Settings" from menu mode, followed by "Phone Settings."
Step 2
Touch "PC Connections," followed by "Samsung PC Studio" and "Save."
Step 3
Connect the Beat DJ to your computer via the manufacturer-supplied USB cable.
Step 4
Launch the Samsung "PC Studio" software and follow all on-screen instructions to sync content to your phone.
Printing Images
Step 1
Connect the Beat DJ to a compatible printer via the manufacturer-supplied USB cable.
Step 2
Open the image on the Beat DJ.
Step 3
Touch "More," followed by "Print Via" and finally "USB."
Step 4
Set your print options on the phone and touch "Print" to print the image.
