Fumbling around with your cellular phone while driving is irresponsible and, in many places, illegal. Whether you're a full-time traveler for work or find yourself needing to talk on the phone occasionally while on the road, a hands-free kit provides a safe solution to your conversational needs. Connecting a Nokia Bluetooth hands-free kit in your car enables you to talk on the phone anywhere there's a cellular signal just as if you were using the speakerphone feature at home, all the while leaving your hands free for driving.

Step 1

Insert the hands-free adapter into the automobile's cigarette lighter socket.

Step 2

Press the "Power" button to turn on the hands-free adapter.

Step 3

Switch on your phone and enable its Bluetooth functionality. Consult the phone's user guide for more information.

Step 4

Select the Nokia hands-free unit from the list of available Bluetooth devices listed on the phone.

Step 5

Enter the Bluetooth passcode "0000" when prompted. The Nokia hands-free unit beeps and then displays a blue light when successfully paired with a mobile phone.
