How to Connect a Motorola Bluetooth to a Samsung Cell Phone

Motorola Bluetooth headsets enable you to talk hands-free on your cell phone so you can divert your attention to more important tasks, such as driving. Bluetooth is a wireless technology that assists in the communication between two devices. If you have Bluetooth installed on your Samsung cell phone, you can pair it with the Motorola Bluetooth so you can chat on the phone while driving or performing other activities.

Step 1

Make sure your Motorola Bluetooth and your Samsung are in close proximity to each other. Press the "Multifunction" button on the Bluetooth for several seconds until the indicator light illuminates.

Step 2

Open the menu on your Samsung cell phone and highlight the "Settings" entry. Navigate to the "Bluetooth" option and press "OK." Set the Bluetooth to "On" and use the "Scan" or "Search" option.

Step 3

Highlight the name of the Motorola Bluetooth in the list of found devices. Press "OK" to connect the Bluetooth to your Samsung cell phone. Enter the password "0000" if prompted by your phone. Your phone is now connected to your Bluetooth and you can immediately begin receiving calls through the headset.
