If you like to chat often with friends and family or are always on the phone with your co-workers and boss, you have probably talked on your iPhone while driving in the car. Talking on cell phones while driving is safer if a wireless Bluetooth headset is used, such as the Jawbone headset. This headset lets you make and receive calls on your iPhone without needing to touch or hold the device. Connecting the two takes only a few minutes.
Power on your iPhone. Go to the main Home screen, and tap the "Settings" option.
Tap "General," then select "Bluetooth." Tap "On" to use the Bluetooth feature on the iPhone.
Press and hold the "Talk" button on the Jawbone headset for two seconds. This button is located on the bottom of the device.
Tap "Search for New Devices" on the iPhone's Bluetooth screen if the phone has not already initiated a search. When "Jawbone" appears, tap it to enter the passcode screen.
Enter "0000" as the passcode in the iPhone. The iPhone and the Jawbone headset are now connected.
- The Jawbone headset is able to pair with up to eight devices. It is possible to connect it to two devices at the same time.
