Delete your iPhone Skype history if you have privacy concerns.

Skype for the iPhone provides a robust, feature-rich communication solution whether you are at the office, at home or on the go. If you have an iPhone that runs iOS 4.3 or higher, Skype enables you to take advantage of multitasking, background VoIP, local notifications and other useful tools. With Skype, you can call, text message and chat with your contacts as well as keep records of each conversation. You can delete your Skype conversation history if you no longer want to keep it or need to erase it for security reasons.
Step 1
Hold the "Sleep/Wake" button on the top-right corner of the iPhone to turn the device on.
Step 2
Tap the "Skype" icon on the iPhone home screen to launch the app.
Step 3
Enter your Skype username and password, if prompted. Tap "Sign In."
Step 4
Tap "Messages" to view your call, text message and conversation history.
Step 5
Slide your finger from left to right on the conversation you want to delete.
Step 6
Tap "Delete" at the prompt to remove the conversation from your history.
Tip
- Erase old, unnecessary conversation logs regularly to keep your Messages screen organized and easy to navigate.
Warning
- Once you delete a conversation, it disappears permanently. Copy all important information that you need from the conversation before deleting it.
