When you purchased or received your Samsung Intercept phone, you signed up for a Sprint account. With this account, you can use the phone to make calls, send text messages and browse the Web. Depending on your account type, Sprint gives you a certain amount of minutes to use on your Intercept each month. You can check your minutes used online, but if you are not near a computer, you can also find out your minute usage directly from the Intercept.

Step 1

Press the "Power" button for a few seconds to turn on the Intercept if it isn't already on.

Step 2

Press the "*" key and then press "4."

Step 3

Press the "Call" button to call Sprint's automated customer assistance line. A recording tells you how many minutes you have used and how many you have remaining this month.

Step 4

Press the "End" button to hang up and go to the main menu.

Tip

  • If you need to pay your bill, you can do so from your Intercept; dial "*3" and press "Call." Dial "*2" to get answers to your questions, contact a Sprint representative or listen to a summary of your service. Dial "*7" if you want to add a new phone or new services to your account.
  • To check your minutes from any other phone, dial 1-888-211-4727 to call Sprint customer service.

Warning

  • If you exceed your allotted minutes for the month, you'll likely be charged an overage fee.
