You can customize your Samsung Continuum by adding widgets to the device's home screen. Widgets can be added, removed or changed with ease, allowing for seemingly endless combinations that fit your preferences. The Samsung Continuum offers proprietary Samsung widgets as well as those native to the Android operating system and apps you've downloaded from the Google Play Store, providing graphics, information and shortcuts to the smartphone's applications.
Step 1
Navigate to the home screen that features the widget you want to change.
Step 2
Press and hold your finger on the widget you want to remove, drag it to the trash can icon and release it. This action does not uninstall the widget from the device, but merely removes it from the home screen.
Step 3
Tap and hold your finger on an open portion of the screen.
Step 4
Select "Samsung Widgets" or "Android Widgets" from the "Add to Home Screen" menu.
Step 5
Tap the desired widget to add it to the smartphone's home screen.
Tip
- You can move widgets to a different location on the home screen by tapping and holding your finger on the desired widget, dragging it to a different open spot on the screen and releasing.
