When scanning through people's photos on Facebook, you'll likely run into the occasional upside down picture. If you have any shots like these in your Facebook photo collection, you can use the social networking website's photo editing options to rotate the photo until it's properly oriented. This helps your friends browse your photo collection without coming across one of those annoyingly oriented shots.

Step 1

Log in to Facebook and click "Photos" to view a list of your photos.

Step 2

Click the "Photos" tab to view a list of your uploaded photos.

Step 3

Locate and click the photo you want to rotate. The photo opens in a pop-up window.

Step 4

Hold your cursor on the photo to view options, and click "Options."

Step 5

Click "Rotate Left" or "Rotate Right" to change the direction of the picture. Continue rotating the photo until its properly oriented.

Tip

  • You cannot rotate other people's photos.
