There are many cell phone providers for residents in Fargo, North Dakota, to use. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are among the national providers that service the area, and each company offers a variety of service plans for families and individuals. Most providers in the city offer plans that include additional features, such as texting and Internet access.

Sprint

Sprint offers quite a few plans to residents of Fargo. The company offers individual as well as family cell plans. At the time of publication, an unlimited minutes plan costs $100 a month plus $90 a month for each additional line. Plans with unlimited data usage generally run $20 to $30 higher than plans with pay-as-you-go data. A plan with 3000 minutes costs $150 per month, plus $10 per additional line. The cost for 1,500 minutes costs $100 per month, and for 700 minutes, the cost is $70 per month.

AT&T

AT&T is one of the largest cellphone companies in the country, and it offers an array of services. Individual and family plans are available. As of the date of publication, individual plans start at $40 a month for 450 minutes, but data and Internet cost more. Once customers start adding features such as 4G and more minutes and lines, the rate increases. Family plans start at $60 a month and cost $10 for an additional line. AT&T does not offer bundled services in Fargo.

Verizon

Verizon has many retail outlets in Fargo. This large wireless phone company offers a wide variety of plans. Like other companies, it has both individual and family plans. As of the date of publication, plans start at $40 per month for basic cell service and 450 minutes, and starting at $60 per month for 450 minutes plus unlimited texting. Internet service costs more. Verizon also has a special plan for senior citizens who are 65 and older. Seniors can receive a plan that includes 200 minutes for $30 a month.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is another national cell phone carrier that offers coverage in Fargo. Their cheapest plan is $40 a month for 500 minutes, as of the date of publication. The cheapest talk and text plan is $50 per month for 500 minutes and unlimited texting, and the cheapest talk, text and Internet plan is $60 per month for 500 minutes, unlimited texting, and 200 megabytes of data usage. Unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile calls are included in all plans.
