Block incoming calls to protect yourself from harassing callers and telemarketers.

Verizon FiOS Digital Voice is a fiber-optic powered telephone service which provides you with all the normal functionality of a telephone line, plus the added benefit of digital features that are available through a fiber-optic line. Verizon FiOS Digital Voice can be operated alongside Verizon FiOS Internet and TV for a complete experience. Being a digital phone line, Verizon FiOS Digital Voice has the ability to block incoming calls from unwanted callers.
Account Manager
To block incoming calls with Verizon FiOS, you must have access to the Verizon FiOS Voice Account Manager. Log in to the Account Manager at VerizonWireless.com and enter your user name and password that was chosen when the account was created in the login fields at the top left of the webpage. If you don't have an account, you can create one using the "Create Account" link as long as you have your account number and can verify you're the account holder. Have your date of birth, address, and social security number available for verification purposes.
Block From Phone Book
Phone numbers can be blocked directly from the online phone book or by adding them manually. Click the "Calling Features" menu link on the left side of the page. Click "Incoming Call Block" from the features list. Click the check box next to "Reject calls from certain numbers." Enter the phone number to block and click "Add" or select them from the phone book. Click "Activate Incoming Call Block" to activate the feature and begin the call blocking service.
Block From Call Log
To block a number that has previously called, click the "Calls and Messages" menu entry and click the phone number you wish to block. Click "Call Block" to add the number to the incoming call block list. Now, when callers who are listed on the block list attempt to call you, they're greeted by a pre-recorded message by Verizon informing them that their number has been blocked by the recipient.
Restrictions
Use the incoming call block sparingly and only as a tool to prevent harassing or unpleasant phone calls. Verizon FiOS Digital Voice package allows you to block up to 10 phone numbers. Once the limit has been reached, you need to remove phone numbers from the list before you can add new ones.
