Bluetooth-Enabled MP3 Players

MP3 players are great little gadgets for listening to music, lectures and any audio recordings in MP3 format. Some even come with a voice recorder. MP3 Players have either an LCD or touchscreen display and mini earphones that are wired to the device. If you are tired of being wired to your MP3 player every time it's in use you have the option of getting Bluetooth-enabled MP3 players. Bluetooth is a wireless technology that uses radio-waves to transmit data over small distances, usually within a 30-feet radius. Instead of mini earphones, you will need to put on a wireless Bluetooth headphone.

Samsung

Samsung makes many different models of Bluetooth-enabled MP3 players. The "P3," "R1," "Q2" and "S5" series are the high-end products with a video player, FM radio, embedded microphone for voice and FM recording and 8GB to 32 GB of storage. These models come in a choice of colors and screen sizes and fast Internet download capabilities. In addition to Bluetooth, some models support USB connectivity as well.

Apple iPod Touch

The iPod Touch, from Apple Inc., is an all-in-one portable media player, personal digital assistant (PDA), handheld game device, mobile Internet device, e-book reader and digital audio player. It has a graphical touch-screen interface, capacity for 8GB, 32GB or 64GB flash drive and support for wireless connectivity including Bluetooth.

Cowon America

Cowon America, previously known as JetAudio, is a South Korean electronics company specializing in portable digital audio players. Its "Cowon J3, X7 and S9" products have a touchscreen-activated MP3 player, video player and FM radio with Bluetooth support. The FM radio does not support Bluetooth, however. Some of them have built-in microphones for voice recording as well as line-in and FM radio recording. They offer 4 GB to 32 GB Flash memory storage capacity.

iriver

"iriver" is a fairly new company from South Korea that specializes in portable media devices such as ebook readers and MP3 players. The "iriver Spinn" MP3 player is just an MP3 player without video, FM radio, touchscreen or recording capabilities. It comes with either 4 GB or 8 GB of storage capacity. It supports both Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity. For those who simply want a Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player without the bells and whistles, "iriver Spinn" is your choice.
