Photoshop Elements gives budding photographers and designers a lower-cost, simpler application that does many of the same things as Photoshop. The features not included in Elements are typically features that only advanced users need. Using Elements, you can manage both your video and photo files.
Function
Photoshop Elements is a media software. It allows you to upload your digital images, both video and still, into one piece of software. The software automatically sorts the information you upload into groups, based on the preferences you define. For example, you can group the information by date, type or event.
Search
If you regularly take shots of the same people, such as your child, pet or sports team, Photoshop Elements makes searching for these people easier. It provides a search utility, called People Recognition, that enables searching for a particular person. This makes it easy to organize your photos and create montages, slide shows or photo books.
Benefits
Photoshop Elements allows you to edit photos and other digital images. In addition, Photoshop Element creates image-based Web pages; design print products such as posters, fliers, and magazine covers; and create digital illustrations. Photoshop Elements is one of a small number of applications that can do all of those things in one application, rather than piecing parts out to multiple applications, creating file integrity and version issues.
Features
The Photomerge feature in Photoshop Elements is one of its better components. That feature allows a photographer to take several digital photographs along the horizon and then combine these images when you upload them into Photoshop Elements, automatically creating a panoramic picture by combining the individual images. Photoshop Elements also enables you to fix common flaws, such as color and lighting, in digital photos.
Cost Effective
Photoshop Elements allows amateur and professional photographers to manage their images easily. Photoshop Elements also provides a good training tool for students and schools that may not be able to afford, or have need for, the more advanced Photoshop application.
