The Creative Zen media player supports music, videos, photos and data files in a variety of formats. The Zen comes with a small amount of built-in memory, but installing an SD or microSD card increases the player's capacity. Once you've installed a memory card, you can transfer your favorite video files to the Zen using the drag-and-drop method.

Step 1

Align a memory card with the card slot on the bottom of the Zen. Turn the card so the logo faces up, then push the card into the slot until it locks in place.

Step 2

Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB jack on the side of the Zen. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer.

Step 3

Click the Start button, then click "Computer." Double-click the Creative Zen icon.

Step 4

Drag and drop your video files into the Creative Zen window. You can also transfer music, photos, TV recordings or data files with the drag-and-drop method. Disconnect the player from the computer when you finish transferring files.

Step 5

Tap "Videos" on the main menu of the Zen to see a list of videos on the player.

Step 6

Tap a video to start playing it. Tap "Options" if you want to change the viewing window size.

Tip

  • To remove a video from the Zen, tap "Videos," then select a video. Touch "Options," "Delete Video" and "Yes."
  • Creative maintains a list of SD cards that are compatible with the Zen (link in Resources). Use a memory card from this list to ensure that it will work on the player.
