Not only can you listen to music, watch television and movies on your iPod, but you can also play games. Downloading games onto your iPod is a simple process. All you need is your iPod, iTunes and money in your iTunes account. Note, however, that the iTunes store offers several free games. You can download many different types of games. Whether you want a simple game to pass the time or a complex one with several levels, the iTunes store has something for you.

Step 1

Open the iTunes store on your computer. If you do not have iTunes, go to apple.com and download it directly from their website.

Step 2

Connect your iPod to your computer by attaching the USB cord.

Step 3

Click on "App Store" and scroll through the available games.

Step 4

Click on "buy app" once you find a game you wish to purchase.

Step 5

Confirm your order.

Step 6

Click on "file" once your game has finished downloading.

Step 7

Scroll down to "sync iPod" and click on it. Your iPod will sync and the next time you turn it on, your game will be there.

Warning

  • You must have a 3G iPod or later to download games. You can find your iPod's generation on the back of you iPod near the serial number.
